
PVC Pneumatic Butterfly Valve
The Huiya PVC pneumatic butterfly valve — UPVC in DIN markets — is a large-bore, wafer-type automated valve for ambient-temperature water, seawater, and wastewater, sizes DN40 to DN500. For pipes above DN100, it’s far lighter and more economical than a flanged ball valve, and its universal slotted-hole flange fits ANSI, DIN, and JIS bolt patterns — one valve for piping systems worldwide. Completely immune to seawater and free chlorine, it’s a natural fit for desalination, pools, and municipal water.
Universal Flange: Fits ANSI, DIN & JIS
The slotted (elongated) bolt holes accommodate the bolt circle diameters of ANSI Class 150, DIN, and JIS at once — one wafer valve mounts between flanges of any of the three standards. No need to specify standard, and simpler inventory for multi-region projects.
Why a Wafer Butterfly Valve for Large Bores
For pipes larger than DN100 (4″), a flanged ball valve is heavy and expensive. A UPVC wafer butterfly valve takes a fraction of the installation space, cuts pipe-support load, needs only a small/cheap actuator, and isolates huge flow with a 90° quarter-turn in seconds. For ambient seawater and water service, it’s the most cost-effective large-bore choice — and immune to the corrosion that destroys metal valves.

Chemical Compatibility
