Diaphragm Valves
Huiya manufactures weir-type plastic diaphragm valves in UPVC, CPVC, PPH and PVDF — built for corrosive, solids-laden and high-purity liquids where a ball or butterfly valve struggles. A flexible diaphragm seals the flow and completely isolates it from the stem and bonnet, so there is no packing to leak, no crevice to trap fluid, and no cavity for slurry to jam. Available in union (DN15–DN50) and flanged (DN25–DN200) patterns to ANSI, DIN and JIS, rated PN10, manual or pneumatic.

Dual-layer diaphragm
The diaphragm is the heart of the valve, so ours are dual-layer (two-ply): a chemically-inert wetted face bonded to a resistant backing that acts as a second barrier against permeation. Three combinations are available:
- EPDM + PTFE — the general-purpose choice for water, dilute-to-moderate acids and alkalis, and mild slurries.
- FKM + PTFE — for hydrofluoric acid and hot, strong acids; the FKM backing resists HF that a single PTFE layer can slowly permeate.
- EPDM + F46 (FEP) — for high-purity gas and ultrapure water, where the tight F46 face gives the lowest possible permeation.
Why a diaphragm valve
- No leak path — the fluid never touches the stem; nothing to leak out, nothing to contaminate in.
- Handles solids and slurries — no ball or seat cavity for particles to jam or abrade.
- Throttles — regulates flow at partial opening, unlike a ball valve.
- Clean and crevice-free — no dead space, drains fully; ideal for high-purity service.

Not sure which body pattern or diaphragm you need? See weir vs straight-through to understand the valve design, and our diaphragm material selection guide to match the diaphragm to your medium. To weigh the four plastics side by side, see the plastic valve material selection guide, and check your exact medium in the chemical resistance checker.
Flanged diaphragm valves are supplied with the backing ring drilled to your standard — which flange standard to specify. Explore each material — UPVC, CPVC, PPH and PVDF diaphragm valves.
Factory-direct from our own plant
All valves ship factory-direct — MOQ 20 pieces, about 7 days for standard items, with a 12-month warranty. Tell us your medium, its concentration, temperature and line size, and whether the duty is on/off or throttling, and our engineers will specify the body and diaphragm — and flag any permeation or slurry risk before it becomes a problem. UPVC diaphragm valves — also known as PVC diaphragm valves — are the economical workhorse for ambient-temperature water and mild chemical service: industrial and RO water, weak acids and alkalis, salt solutions, and seawater. We supply them in true union, flanged, and pneumatic configurations, built from virgin UPVC (unplasticized PVC) and easy to install with […]

CPVC diaphragm valves bridge the gap between general-purpose UPVC and high-end PVDF: they hold up to hot corrosive media to about 90 °C — hot water, dilute-to-moderate acids, and oxidising bleaches — at a fraction of the cost of fluoropolymer. We supply them in true union, flanged, and pneumatic configurations for hydrometallurgy, metal finishing, and

PPH Diaphragm Valve PPH diaphragm valves (polypropylene homopolymer) are the value choice for strong alkaline service — high-concentration caustic soda, alkali carbonates, and salt solutions — to about 85 °C. Their toughness stands up to hot caustic and abrasion where other plastics struggle. We supply them in true union, flanged, and pneumatic configurations for chlor-alkali,

PVDF Diaphragm Valve PVDF diaphragm valves handle the media that defeat other plastics — concentrated acids, halogens, and high-purity fluids — while the diaphragm design keeps the flow path free of dead space, packing, and contamination. We build ours from 100% virgin PVDF and offer them in true union, flanged, and pneumatic configurations for chemical
